I am a student attending Arizona State University. I am in the College of Teacher Education and Leadership at the West campus. I am a student teacher and will be graduating on May 12, 2006. This web page displays the hard work that I have done to get me where I am. On this web page you will be able to view lesson plans and other work that I have done throughout my experience in the College of Education and Leadership.
Part of my education experience at ASU West was creating lesson plans. Lesson plans are very important, becuase they are the framework of what is to be taught. Here are some of my lesson plans that I feel best portray my knowledge of an effective lesson and my hard work as a future teacher.
Action research is becoming a big part of education. Action Research is finding an issue dealing with any aspect of education. During my thrid block at ASU West, I had to do an Action Research Project. I chose bullying, becuase I feel that this is an important issue that we need to deal with and find solutions to put an end to bullying. I have included my Power Point that summarizes my action research project.
In addition to my lesson plans and Action Research project, I have provided some links to places that are useful to teachers and places that I use on a regular basis.

This is a terrific website for teachers as well as furture teachers. You can find lesson plans on almost every topic and subject. I really like this website because it offers ideas for creating your own lesson plans.

Arizona Department of Education
This is probably the most important website that a teacher will visit. On this website you are able to view Arizona's academic standards for all grades and subjects. You are also able to view all district and school websites. From this website you can view any school's reprot card. This is such a beneficial website for any teacher to visit.
